Our FUNdraising kick-a-thon was a 'smashing' success with lots of support and perseverance right to the end of 100 rounds! A superb effort from all involved, particularly those who had never done it before and those who stuck it out to the very end!

More preparation for the #TeamExcalibur delegates for the UITF World Championships in Croatia with a special Squad Seminar in Cheltenham. With guest instructors, Ms Gleaves and Mr Chow taking the Squad through ITF patterns and sparring techniques.
In training for the World's in Croatia, the ITFU British Open Championships in Birmingham was the next challenge for Mr Makarewicz, Reilly and Albert, and they smashed it again!

June was hectic with GTI Squad Training at LMA in Wolverhampton,
Mr Thompson (a.k.a. your friendly neighbourhood paramedic) doing a demo at work and everyone having a 'smashing' time at the St Leonards FOSLs Summer Festival!
The first ever #BridgnorthPride event literally stormed the Castle Grounds in floods of rainbows and smiles! Â
WOW! What a rush! The Summer Wolf Run was amazing... amazingly muddy... amazingly soggy and amazingly good fun with a fantastic team!
Roll on next year and a bigger #TeamExcalibur to take on the challenge.
#TeamExcalibur officiated and competed at the first GTI Junior Open Championships in Cheltenham at the start of June. A fantastic day all round.

Excalibur students in all groups smashed their gradings and achieved well-deserved promotions to their next belts!
The GTI Instructor's Course was hosted by Excalibur Martial Arts and led by Master Bhadeshia, putting 5 Excalibur students as well as students from Much Wenlock TKD and LMA through their paces on their journey to becoming GTI Instructors.
The Worfield School Spring Fayre was a fantastic afternoon on Saturday 18th May 2024 and we're really grateful to the PTA organisers for inviting us again, we had great fun and so did all the Worfield students and friends that joined in.
Bridgnorth Walk 2024
The Fab Four, consisting of Mr Thompson, Mr McG, Reilly and George, completed the (in)famous 22 mile annual Bridgnorth Walk
to raise money for Excalibur's
chosen charity this year,
Dementia UK.

We raised £610 altogether from the 100 Rounds of Sparring and Bridgnorth Walk (£110 over our fundraising target of £500!)

Mr McG, Mrs Martin, Miss Martin, George and Reilly attended the GTI Umpires and Referees Qualification and Training course and refresher.

Halo Big Open Day
Excalibur took part in the Halo Big Open Day with a FREE taster session after regular classes.
The session was really well attended and our newbies had lots of fun!
GTI National Squad Training
April's GTI National Squad Training took place at Excalibur Martial Arts in Bridgnorth. We had a fantastic session... and the oranges and watermelon went down at treat at half time!
We're very proud to announce that Mrs Martin was successful in her Dan Grading promotion to Third Dan Black Belt at the Global Taekwondo International - GTI Black Belt Grading last Sunday.
The panel comprised of Master Cockburn, 8th Dan, Master Bhadeshia, 8th Dan and Master Burgess, 7th Dan who really put the candidates through their paces, mentally and physically.
Mrs Martin's dedication and commitment to training both in and out of classes truly shone through. Congratulations on your very well deserved Third Dan from all of us at Excalibur Martial Arts.

GTI Umpires and Referees Course was led by Master Paresh Bhadeshia and was a great success with plenty of eager students.
Bridgnorth Community Sports Day & Commonwealth Queen's Baton RelayÂ
In conjunction with Sporting Bridgnorth, we were honoured to be part of the Queen's Relay Baton event as it passed through Bridgnorth on 23rd July 2022.
It was fantastic to see so many of Bridgnorth's sports clubs taking part and promoting a fit and healthy community. Go TEAM!
GTI Charity 100 Rounds of Sparring
#TeamExcalibur students participated in the GTI Charity 100 Rounds of Sparring at Condover Hall this year. A great turnover with GTI students from all over the county in attendance. Excalibur raise over £400 for Bridgnorth's League of Friends. Thank you to all who supported us.

St Leonard's School Fete
We were thrilled to be invited to St Leonard's Primary School Summer Fayre again this year. We had great fun training in the glorious sunshine alongside fabulous folk, cakes, crepes and of course... dinosaurs!
